Fees
What a trader pays and where every basis point goes.
Every trade pays one pool fee: a 1.25% base plus the creator’s tax. Meteora keeps 20% of the whole fee. Of what remains, Blend takes a flat 30 bps of volume and the creator gets the rest.
| Creator tax | Trader pays | Meteora | Creator | Blend |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0% | 1.25% | 0.25% | 0.70% | 0.30% |
| 1% | 2.25% | 0.45% | 1.50% | 0.30% |
| 3% | 4.25% | 0.85% | 3.10% | 0.30% |
| 5% | 6.25% | 1.25% | 4.70% | 0.30% |
The creator’s share is 70 bps plus 80% of the tax they set, because Meteora’s 20% applies to the tax too. The wizard shows both numbers before you launch.
How the creator gets paid
Fees accrue inside each locked pool position, in that pool’s stock. Blend collects them and sends the creator’s share to the creator’s wallet in the stock itself, with Blend’s 30 bps going to the buyback. The split is enforced by the program that owns the positions; it cannot be changed after launch.
Launching
Launching costs network rent only: the token, and one pool with two vaults and one position per asset, about 0.02 SOL each. There is no Blend launch fee. The dev buy and the stocks the pools need are on top and belong to the creator.
